today i am sharing with you images of my house in Pune..its a large 2 BHK with 2 balconies and a dry balcony.
we, my husband and i live on the outskirts of Pune..close to the Bombay Pune Highway since it is closer to my husband's workplace.
the whole housing complex is beautiful complete with a fully functional sports club (swimming pool, tennis, squash and basketball courts, Table tennis, carom and yoga room, a fully equipped gym and greenery :).
two days after moving to Pune we got a call from our landlady asking us to vacate the flat since she was going to shift back into her house...we were extremely disappointed with our luck....but then we found a house in the same complex that we love so much and it was all for the better...the house is pretty much the same in layout except that we now have two balconies instead of one in our previous house and the rooms are much larger...the only thing i miss is the niche in the kitchen wall...which you will see in come of the pics here..
the house is fairly minimal and largely functional and we'd like to keep it that way for a while...i like it...let me know if you do too!

minimal, uncluttered and mess free! absolutely beautiful!
ooh nothing from pune sadly !
Hi Kanika,
First time on your blog. Came thru "the Key bunch.
Lovely house as others have said. What got me most was the spotless. clean, shiny floors. How do you manage to keep it so clean.
Also the lamp, the key hanger and the pens are lovely. Especially the lamp... the terracotta frog and the other piece are so cute.
Really like the simple, calm uncluttered look of the space and how everything ties together effortlessly. The photographs reflect a lived in look as opposed to some houses which pretty much look like a furniture store where everything seems to be on display.
The pooja corner is so serene. the silver idols give a zen like quality to your home.
Hi Vinita!
Thank you for your lovely comment!
About the floors...well the first criteria for both my husband and i when going in for a rented house was a relatively newer construction and clean lines. I had told my husband that I would prefer an absolutely empty house with only the essential wood work.
Thankfully we were able to find this lovely house and it came with simple beige vitrified tiles that are super easy to clean. I ensure that I have clean foot mats outside the main entrance and all the bathrooms etc at all times.By keeping the shoe rack close to the entrance I have ensured that we remove our shoes (that we wear outside) on entering the house and then when inside we have house slippers..it is very simple really :)
Thank you again for stopping by..hope to see more of you here :)
Love
