more Bhutan

so the first image up there is the Dzong (D silent). every city/town has its own Dzong and it comprises of both the administrative an religious bodies for the governance of the city. the courts of justice and the monasteries lie side by side here. this one is the Thimphu Dzong.

the black utensil is the container to burn incense in. every monastery burns incense in the evenings.

below that is the Nunnery or the monastery where the female monks live and pray.

i have lots more...stay tuned!
