waiting for monsoons...

its cloudy and grey outside and I am desperately waiting for it to start pouring now!

i love it when the skies are grey...it makes all other colours of bulidings, trees, cars, clothes pop. i also made some pretty block printed cushions in grey recently and then went ahead an mixed up all the greys and neutrals on the front page of my etsy shop here is a screen shot :)

...after so long!

facebook has taken the joy out of blogging for me, but every now and then, i meet lovely customers who got to know about my brand and I through this lovely space and so how can i not come back to blogging??

i posted these pictures of my home and office on my facebook page recently...

 i shoot anek products on my ironing board... ;)

 the bench by the window never really has any space to sit!!

  this is really my work and storage room...when i have guests though, i call it guest room.

  my super messy office, anek designs' store room. this is the reason you only see tight shots!

my living room which is almost devoid of my own products...since my husband won't let me use any!

 the lone phulkari cushion you see on the sofa is a sample piece.

 

i have been blogging about my home ever since i moved to pune after marriage, i must, at some point share with you the evolution of my living space, the additions of furniture piece (there haven't been so many) and some decor items. i have lived in 4 houses (all rented) in my four years of marriage...all my homes have given me so much love and joy. i am so grateful!

Sample Clearance Sale

I have been meaning to do this for a while, a sample clearance sale!
Yes I am selling sample pieces/defective lots from my product range at unbelievable prices! The products are totally usable but have slight defects which are mentioned in the product description.

I will be adding more products to this album on a regular basis, so stay tuned!
Why the defective samples you ask? Well the first pieces never turn out perfect..and then sometimes a new tailor makes mistakes like these :) Lets think of these as training pieces for my karigars!

playing house...

it is time for husband and i to move houses again....it is a lot of work and our organization skills will be tested once again, but we are both looking forward to the change.
