Yes you heard it right, I started this brand 6 years ago and it has traveled with me to 4 different cities. Time flies and it always seems amazing on looking back. I have met many wonderful people in these years and I am thankful for having them in my life!

My fellow creatives who I met through my online shops or my blog have made me feel so welcome in these cities and on this journey, without them I would have been lost. All this love that has been showered on me through Anek Designs is the single most powerful factor that has prevented me from shutting shop every time I had my downs. I know so many of you through my blog, even though I have been irregular in reaching out and posting! I am so thankful that you come back to read what I have to say and forgive me when I am absent.

Catch us at the lovely Artisan Market this Sunday, 12th June 2016, Heron Square, 

Richmond, TW9 1EP.

Organised by Duck Pond Market, this event is sure to be a lot of fun and a must attend if you haven't been to one of their events already.

Find the best local artists, crafters, food producers and ethical businesses. 
There are locally made arts crafts, gifts, vintage, homewares and clothing.A tempting choice of locally made food both to eat here and take home. Musicians perform live. There are always famous faces to be spotted at this hip little market!
In the centre of Richmond, tucked between Hill Street, Bridge Street and the riverside is elegant Heron Square. On sunny days the atmosphere is amazing, the riverside is packed with people, all enjoying the beautiful setting right on the Thames! You can rent a bike, a row boat or take a cruise down to Hampton Court or Kingston. People watching is our favourite pastime in Richmond, and you're almost certain to get some celeb spotting in if you keep your eyes peeled!

i am always on the lookout for interesting shops in pune...and i was so glad to find one more...located in Nyati Estate, Mohammedwadi,, Pune, India 411060 is art etc...

yet to visit the store in person...but the tour on their fb page and website looks very promising...should make it a point to visit it soon...and if you do visit it before me...then share the reviews!!

i am sure most of you know about mora taara, the eclectic store on pedder road in mumbai....what you may not know is that the store owner anuradha has recently opened her second store in galaxy mall (nr. 32nd milestone) gurgaon, NCR!!!!

 here's what anuradha has to say about the store and how it was born :)

"The store essentially combines my two great loves - travelling and shopping. 

Having a store full of beautiful things is something I have always wanted - ever since I was five - so the store was kind of inevitable. Before starting the store in 2005,  I was a journalist of 10 years.  Two of those years I was with a newspaper in Bangkok and I travelled a lot in South East Asia then. So that was natural place for me to start sourcing.  The emphasis on warm atmosphere, great service and fabulous hand-picked products from all over the world.  We do a lot of our own designing now that is manufactured in India. We have two stores now - on Peddar Road, Mumbai  (022-65754822)and in Galaxy Hotel, Gurgaon (0124-4278392).  Next is the online store - our website will be up in the next 2 months"

the fabulous store is named after anuradha's grand mother "tara"...mora taara essentially means my star...i think it is a beautiful name

umm husband and i have been thinking up names for this new line of products and we have nearly zeroed in on....

wait some more...please....we are still working on it :)
meanwhile i have been shooting my products and am here to share them with you.

short trip to delhi and am back with some more products :)

so i went to delhi for 4-5 days and got back only today..the news is that my brother is getting married to his long time girlfriend !! yaya!! the dates haven't been finalized yet but the wedding ceremony will be mostly in the first week of december and i am super kicked about it..
