Yes you heard it right, I started this brand 6 years ago and it has traveled with me to 4 different cities. Time flies and it always seems amazing on looking back. I have met many wonderful people in these years and I am thankful for having them in my life!

My fellow creatives who I met through my online shops or my blog have made me feel so welcome in these cities and on this journey, without them I would have been lost. All this love that has been showered on me through Anek Designs is the single most powerful factor that has prevented me from shutting shop every time I had my downs. I know so many of you through my blog, even though I have been irregular in reaching out and posting! I am so thankful that you come back to read what I have to say and forgive me when I am absent.

Catch us at the lovely Artisan Market this Sunday, 12th June 2016, Heron Square, 

Richmond, TW9 1EP.

Organised by Duck Pond Market, this event is sure to be a lot of fun and a must attend if you haven't been to one of their events already.

Find the best local artists, crafters, food producers and ethical businesses. 
There are locally made arts crafts, gifts, vintage, homewares and clothing.A tempting choice of locally made food both to eat here and take home. Musicians perform live. There are always famous faces to be spotted at this hip little market!
In the centre of Richmond, tucked between Hill Street, Bridge Street and the riverside is elegant Heron Square. On sunny days the atmosphere is amazing, the riverside is packed with people, all enjoying the beautiful setting right on the Thames! You can rent a bike, a row boat or take a cruise down to Hampton Court or Kingston. People watching is our favourite pastime in Richmond, and you're almost certain to get some celeb spotting in if you keep your eyes peeled!

Beautiful Hand Crafted Furniture by Gulmohar Lane

I was introduced to Shweta (co-founder and creative head, Gulmohar Lane) by my husband Vivek, both their families have known each other for many many years.

Shweta wrote to me about her plans for their furniture brand while it was still in its planning stages and I took an instant liking to the name...Gulmohar Lane. I can see myself going on long walks in Gulmohar Lane, with the sunny skies and cool breeze, perhaps with a comforting book to read.

I love the way the brand has shaped up and their collection of furniture is stunning! Best part though? Gulmohar Lane is online and you can ask for the product to be delivered across India.

I so agree when they say that they found a gap in the furniture market and strive to fill it with quality products that are fairly priced.

Their hand tufted Chesterfield Collection of sofas, ottomans and chairs is a personal favourite, made by 4th generation master sofa makers, the quality shows in every thoughtful detail.

My all time favourite coffee table, I hope they start world shipping soon.
